Here's what a coating does, what it doesn't, and what you pay for each one. Prices are fixed and include GST and travel to your door.
What it does
A hard, slick layer over your paint.
- Mud, bugs and bird droppings wipe off more easily.
- Water beads and sheds.
- Gloss stays sharper.
- UV has a tougher barrier to get through.
That last one is the reason to do it here. South-east Queensland sun fades and chalks clear coat. A coating takes that punishment instead of your paint.
What it doesn't
It's not armour.
- It won't stop stone chips or deep scratches.
- It isn't maintenance-free. You still wash the car.
- If anyone tells you otherwise, they're selling something.
Ceramic coating is for cars, SUVs, utes and 4WDs. We don't offer it for motorbikes.
